An A* is worth 56 points, A is 48, B is 40, C is 32, D is 24, and E is 16 under the current Tariff.
Do all universities use UCAS Tariff points?
No. Some universities use grades or subject requirements instead, and each provider decides which qualifications it accepts.
Do GCSEs have UCAS points?
No. The UCAS Tariff applies to Level 3 and equivalent qualifications, not Level 2 qualifications such as GCSEs.
