How we check scholarships
We review each catalog entry before it is published and use structured eligibility rules to match students with awards. Here is what that means in practice.
1.Check the source
A scholarship enters the catalog through a reviewed intake process. We examine the sponsor's application page and record the award, eligibility, deadline, and application path. A listing from an aggregator alone is not a substitute for the sponsor's instructions.
2.Translate eligibility into matching rules
Requirements such as education level, field of study, location, and school are represented as structured rules. We distinguish required conditions from preferences so a preference does not become an automatic exclusion.
3.Keep application support separate
Being listed does not mean a scholarship supports automatic application. One-tap application is available only when that exact scholarship has a reviewed application script and a current pre-submit test. Other listings point students to the sponsor's official application path.
Before you apply
Sponsors can revise or close an award after our last check. Confirm the current deadline, eligibility, documents, and submission instructions on the official sponsor page. If you spot an error in our listing, send its link to support@mail.awardscholar.com so we can review it.
