About this scholarship
Virginia resident high school seniors with significant financial need, strong academics, and leadership potential are automatically considered for the Virginia Tech Presidential Scholarship Initiative when they file the FAFSA and General Scholarship Application by January 22.
Up to 200 recipients receive a package covering tuition, fees, room, and board, renewable up to four years with satisfactory progress. Preference goes to first-generation and Pell-eligible students.
No separate application beyond admission credentials, the General Scholarship Application, and FAFSA is required for consideration.
