Outstanding high school seniors who are Pell-eligible U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents from low-income households, with a minimum 3.3 weighted GPA, planning full-time enrollment at an accredited U.S. not-for-profit college may apply.
The last-dollar scholarship covers the full cost of attendance not met by other financial aid and the Student Aid Index, including tuition, fees, room, board, books, and transportation. Up to 300 scholars are selected each year.
Submit the application highlighting academic record, leadership, and personal success skills. An ideal Gates Scholar excels academically while demonstrating strong leadership and emotional maturity.
