About this scholarship

Legal residents of the 50 U.S. states and D.C., or dependent children of active-duty U.S. military members, ages 16 to 26 who are enrolled in or plan to enroll in an accredited post-secondary program (two-year, four-year, vocational, or trade) in good academic standing may apply.

The Live Más Scholarship offers individual awards from $5,000 up to $25,000 across more than 1,500 recipients. No GPA or test-score minimum is required.

Submit either a 250 to 500 word essay or a 30-second to two-minute video explaining your passion, the impact you hope to make, and how you embody Live Más.

The Taco Bell Foundation has supported education and career readiness for youth since 1992.

What else to submit

  • Either a 250-500 word essay or a 30-second to two-minute video response
  • Applicants may submit EITHER a 250–500 word essay OR a video 30 seconds to 2 minutes in length (max 100 MB) addressing the same prompt.
  • Essay submissions may include one photo that represents the applicant's passion.
  • Essay word range is 250–500 words (the wordLimit field reflects the 500-word maximum).
  • Must be enrolled in or plan to enroll in an accredited two-year, four-year, vocational, or trade postsecondary program.
  • Must be in good academic standing.
  • Essay or video must explain the applicant's passion, intended impact, and how they embody Live Más.
