State Association of the Daughters of the Pioneers of Washington Memorial Scholarship

Washington residents who are descendants of pre-1870 Washington, pre-1853 Oregon, pre-1863 Idaho, or pre-1863 Montana (west of the Rocky Mountains) pioneers may apply. Applicants must be full-time juniors, seniors, or graduate students at an accredited Washington college. Preference goes to history, education, or English majors.

Up to two scholarships of $1,500 are awarded annually.

Submit proof of pioneer descent and a genealogical chart with your application. The State Association of the Daughters of Pioneers of Washington supports descendants continuing their education in state.
