About this scholarship
Female high school seniors residing in Pennsylvania zip codes 177 through 187 or 195 through 196 who will enroll as first-year students in an ABET-accredited engineering program may apply. Scholarships of up to $5,000 are awarded based on academic achievement, extracurricular and leadership activities, an evaluation form, and an original essay.

- Applicant must choose and answer ONE of the three essay questions
- Length limit: two page maximum, double spaced, 11-point font (the official length spec; ~500 words is an approximation)
- Anonymous judging: use only a 4-digit ID (last 4 digits of phone number), not your name
- Separate Activities Form required (must follow the provided format; a resume is not an acceptable substitution)
- Separate Evaluation Form required
