Rhodes Scholarship

Outstanding U.S. students seeking full-time postgraduate study at the University of Oxford may apply for the Rhodes Scholarship. Applicants must obtain institutional endorsement from their college or university and compete through one of 16 U.S. district committees.

Up to 32 U.S. scholars are selected annually, with two per district. The award provides full funding for university fees and a living stipend for at least two years at Oxford.

Submit a personal statement, academic statement, and full application online before the deadline. District receptions and interviews are held in November, with selections announced after Saturday interviews.
