About this scholarship

The National College Match connects high-achieving, low-income high school seniors with early admission and full four-year scholarships to 55 partner colleges, including Stanford, MIT, Yale, and Princeton. Finalists typically come from households earning less than $65,000 a year for a family of four with minimal assets, qualify for free or reduced-price meals, and earn mostly A's in challenging courses.

The program is open to any high school senior attending school in the US, and to US citizens and permanent residents living abroad. Applicants submit a free application with essays, two teacher recommendations, a counselor School Report, transcripts, and detailed household financial information by the October 1 deadline; the application opens in late summer. Matched students receive a scholarship covering the full cost of attendance for four years.
