PRSA Chicago Michelle Flowers Diversity Fellowship

Illinois undergraduate students of color (freshmen through non-graduating seniors) enrolled full time in public relations, journalism, or communications at an accredited four-year college or university may apply. Applicants need at least a 3.0 GPA.

Four $2,500 awards are granted annually, each including a paid summer internship at a Chicago agency affiliated with PRSA Chicago. The award is renewable for the senior year based on maintaining a 3.0 GPA.

Submit a 500-word essay and a faculty recommendation.

The fellowship program is designed to attract, recruit, and retain people of color in public relations and communications.
