Powell Scholars Program

First-year applicants to the University of the Pacific with an unweighted GPA of 3.7 or higher, rigorous coursework including Honors, AP, or IB classes, and demonstrated leadership in at least two areas may apply for the Powell Scholars Program.

Up to 10 scholars receive a $49,000 annual merit scholarship, plus $5,000 for independent research and $2,500 for study abroad.

Indicate interest on the undergraduate admission application, then complete the separate Powell application when invited. Finalists interview on campus in February.
