About this scholarship

Massachusetts residents with at least a 3.75 GPA and SAT scores of 1200 or higher (or ACT equivalent) who have filed the FAFSA may qualify for a merit-based waiver of tuition and mandatory fees at one of eight Massachusetts state universities.

Each university may award up to five new waivers per year, for up to 40 statewide. Recipients must maintain a 3.3 GPA to renew for up to four years of study.

Apply through the state university you plan to attend. Deadlines and requirements vary by institution.
