About this scholarship

California or Florida residents who are high school seniors, graduates, or current college undergraduates planning full-time enrollment at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school may apply for the Oportun Scholarship.

Up to 30 non-renewable awards of $2,000 are granted. Financial need is considered, and preference is given to applicants pursuing non-medical STEM or finance-related degrees.

One online recommendation is required. The program is administered by Scholarship America.
