TXCPA Houston Foundation Accounting Scholarship

Accounting students in the TXCPA Houston service area who plan to become Texas CPAs may apply for chapter foundation awards. Applicants need at least 3.25 accounting and 3.0 overall GPAs, U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency, declared accounting major, financial need, and a filed Application of Intent with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. Approved recipients receive up to $2,500 for fall tuition and may receive another $2,500 for spring if requirements continue. The 2026 cycle closed May 15, 2026; the page says to return in February for 2027-28 applications. TXCPA Houston Foundation runs this program separately from the statewide AcctoFi application.
