About this scholarship
Nevada resident artists age 21 or older who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents may apply for unrestricted $5,000 merit fellowships. Degree-seeking students in the applying discipline are ineligible.
Visual, literary, and performing arts rotate on a three-year cycle (FY27 was performing arts/music). Artists with two prior Nevada Arts Council fellowships may not reapply.
Applications typically open in March and close May 1 through the Nevada Arts Council online system. Concealed panel review evaluates work samples from the last ten years.
The Nevada Arts Council recognizes sustained artistic excellence among committed Nevada practitioners.
