About this scholarship
Practicing professional artists 18 or older with a permanent base of operations in Baltimore City for at least one year may apply for project/practice support through the Mayor's Individual Artist Award. Applicants must have presented public arts or cultural programming within the prior two years.
Ten selected artists each receive $3,000 to support individual practice or programs that expand public access to arts and culture in Baltimore.
The FY26 cycle opened November 3, 2025 and closed December 15, 2025. Awards were announced January 20, 2026.
Create Baltimore, on behalf of the Mayor and Baltimore City Arts Council, administers the Creative Baltimore Fund.
