About this scholarship
Phoenix-resident individual artists may apply for the Artists to Work Program, which funds completion and public presentation of creative work. Ten awards of $8,000 are made per cycle, paid in two installments.
Eligible disciplines rotate annually; the upcoming 2027 round covers visual art (2D, 3D, and contemporary digital arts). Award year runs January 1 through December 31, 2027.
Applications open August 3, 2026 and close September 6, 2026 at 11:59 PM. The 2026 cycle closed September 28, 2025.
Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture administers the program with city resident funding.
