About this scholarship

New Hampshire resident artists may apply for entrepreneurial grants of $250 to $1,000 to build business skills, improve artistic quality, or reach new markets. A 12-month New Hampshire residency is required.

The program replaced the discontinued Artist Fellowship (ended 2013) and supports career development activities such as workshops, conferences, and business training. FY26 applications are reviewed quarterly with no match required.

Apply through nharts.submittable.com; quarterly deadlines recur throughout the fiscal year.

The New Hampshire State Council on the Arts funds these grants to strengthen the state's creative workforce.
