About this scholarship
Maryland residents pursuing a postsecondary credential full-time or part-time at an eligible Maryland two-year or four-year college, university, or private career school may apply for a Delegate Scholarship through their local state delegate.
Award amounts vary based on financial need as shown on the FAFSA or Maryland State Financial Aid Application. Funds may also reimburse educational expenses for certificate or licensure programs at community colleges.
Contact your delegate for application instructions. Complete the FAFSA by March 1 or the MSFAA if ineligible for federal aid. If your delegate requests OSFA to administer the award, ensure all aid information is submitted by the deadline.
Active-duty military members domiciled in Maryland may use the scholarship at out-of-state institutions in some cases.
