About this scholarship
Bilingual Latino, Latina, or Latine students with significant financial need who are entering years two or three of an MSW program, entering as advanced standing, or pursuing a DSW or PhD in social work may apply for the Latino Social Work Coalition SCHOLARS Program if they have ties to New York City.
One scholarship of up to $1,500 is awarded, along with monthly mentorship from September through May.
Submit a transcript, two letters of recommendation, a resume, a bio, a recent headshot, and a personal statement of up to 1,000 words on your social work career goals and interest in serving Latino or under-resourced communities.
The coalition supports professional development for social work students committed to underserved New York City communities.
