Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship

U.S. citizen high school seniors under 20 pursuing four-year accredited U.S. college degrees on a full-time basis may apply for the Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student competition. Permanent residents and high school graduates are ineligible. Male and female students compete separately.

Five hundred four-year scholarships are awarded. Top 20 finalists receive $7,500 per year ($30,000 total) and attend Leadership Weekend with national judges. Four hundred eighty runners-up receive $1,000 per year ($4,000 total).

Complete the online application with transcripts, essays, activity records, and references. Winners advance through local, district, and state judging rounds.
