About this scholarship
Gifted U.S. citizens or permanent residents age 18 or younger who have completed a significant project may apply for Davidson Fellows scholarships.
Awards include amounts up to $100,000 recognizing outstanding work in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Literature, Music, Philosophy, or Outside the Box categories. Up to 20 fellows are selected.
The application requires a project description, parent approval, and nominating forms. All intellectual property remains with the applicant.

- Two Davidson Fellows nominating forms
- Parent approval
- Portfolio of the applicant's significant project/work in the chosen category (e.g., research report with bibliography, or a portfolio of work at university graduate level or beyond)
- ATTACHMENT THREE: a maximum 10-minute, home-production quality video describing the work (uploaded to YouTube as Unlisted)
- Two Davidson Fellows Nominating Forms submitted directly by two nominators familiar with the applicant's work (family members/relatives may not serve as nominators)
- Statement of commitment that, if named a Davidson Fellow, the applicant and a parent/guardian will attend the award reception
- All submission pages must be typed in English in an 11 or 12 point standard font; bibliography must follow APA or another recognized style guide
- All intellectual property remains with the applicant. Recipients and a parent/guardian must attend the award reception if selected.
