Eligibility
About this scholarship
High school seniors residing in California, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Texas, or Washington who plan to enroll full time as first-year students at a U.S. accredited four-year college, university, or community college may apply. You need a minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA and household income at or below the program's low-income threshold. Employees of Cathay Bank and their immediate family members are not eligible.
APCF administers twenty Cathay Bank Foundation scholarships of $2,500 each for first-year study at accredited U.S. institutions.
Submit the APCF application form, a recommender form, and your high school transcript by the deadline. Selected students must provide a college acceptance letter and tax return verifying income.
The Cathay Bank Foundation supports youth in its business service territories pursuing higher education.
