About this scholarship
Alabama residents for at least five years from families where the head of household is blind and household income is at or below 1.3 times federal poverty guidelines may qualify.
One competitive award per year provides a full-tuition waiver covering tuition and instructional fees at Alabama public colleges, universities, or trade schools, renewable for up to four years with annual reapplication.
You must enroll within two years of high school graduation and before age 23. Contact ADRS Blind Services for applications.
