Applicants must be college seniors, first-year graduate students, or in a gap year preparing for graduate study and must morally commit to making their skills available to the United States in times of national emergency. Fellowships provide a cost-of-education allowance and personal stipend, with total funding packages valued at up to $250,000 over five years. Link Foundation Graduate Fellowship Program
$9,000Due Nov 1, 2026Current graduate students may apply for 12-week marine-science research fellowships at the Smithsonian Marine Station at Fort Pierce, Florida, working with Smithsonian research staff.
