About this scholarship
Women in households affected by cancer who have an education-related financial need may apply for the Bessie Mathew Foundation Education Assistance Program. The household must include at least one female, and applicants must reside in the United States or a U.S. territory. You cannot have received an EAP payment in the past 12 months.
Need-based awards vary and cover education expenses such as tuition, tutoring, books, and uniforms for daycare through accredited U.S. colleges. Awards are paid directly to the institution and distributed three times yearly.
Apply online with proof of financial need and cost estimates. Deadlines are May 5, June 30, and November 30 for each distribution cycle.
