The JAN-PRO Your Family First Scholarship Program awards $1,000, $2,500, or $5,000 to eligible JAN-PRO unit franchise owners and their spouses, dependent children, or grandchildren. Applicants must be high-school graduates by July 31, 2026 or current undergraduate or graduate students and plan full-time or part-time study for spring 2027 at an accredited college, university, or vocational-technical school. Third-year Doctor of Audiology students who are Connecticut residents or enrolled in a Connecticut audiology doctoral program may apply. One award of $1,500 is offered. Submit the online application with proof of residency or enrollment, two letters of recommendation describing clinical and academic abilities, and a transcript by May 31. The recipient must attend the Connecticut Academy of Audiology fall conference to receive the award. The scholarship recognizes a student who embodies the integrity, commitment, and professionalism of Dr. Toni Maxon.
Essay written for youConnecticut residents enrolled in an out-of-state Au.D. program, or students enrolled in the University of Connecticut Au.D. program, may apply for Connecticut Academy of Audiology scholarships. Three $1,500 awards are granted annually to Au.D. students entering their second, third, and fourth years of study. Submit the online application, two faculty recommendation letters, and a transcript by the posted deadline. The scholarships recognize Doctor of Audiology students who demonstrate the leadership and academic standards needed for successful clinical practice.
