About this scholarship

Oklahoma residents attending eligible Oklahoma colleges, universities, and career technology centers may receive the Oklahoma Tuition Aid Grant (OTAG), a need-based grant for full-time or part-time undergraduates. Financial need is determined by the Student Aid Index on the FAFSA, and students must qualify for a Pell Grant for the current academic term. Undocumented immigrant students may qualify under specific residency and documentation rules. The grant is not available for virtual Prison Education Programs.

The maximum annual award is the lesser of 75 percent of enrollment costs or up to $1,500 at community colleges and career technology centers, $2,000 at regional universities, and $3,000 at research universities. Awards are typically split between fall and spring. Funding is limited.

Submit the FAFSA as early as possible. Undocumented students meeting criteria should complete the Application for Undocumented Immigrants and mail it to OTAG. Institutions determine final eligibility and amounts based on state funding and campus policy.
