AGBU Scholarship Program (US)

Graduate students of Armenian descent enrolled full time in master's, doctoral, or professional degree programs at highly selective U.S. colleges and universities may apply. Applicants need a GPA of 3.7 or above (American scale), documented financial need via an official school aid package, and must secure most tuition from other sources. Only one AGBU scholarship category may be applied to per academic year.

Awards range from $3,000 to $10,000 per academic year for up to three years of support toward degree expenses.

Applications open January 5 and close May 1; decisions post July 1. The online application requires transcripts, financial documentation, and community service references.

AGBU has administered merit- and need-based scholarships to Armenian students worldwide since the 1920s from its New York headquarters.
