Two scholarships go to full-time predoctoral dental students at accredited U.S. or Canadian schools who have finished at least one year, demonstrate interest in advanced education, and are committed to academic dental careers. Funded activity must occur between the first of the month after the award and June 30 of the state fiscal year. The Alaska State Council on the Arts administers this standing quarterly grant for individual artists and arts administrators.
