About this scholarship
Residents of ZIP code 48111 who are permanent U.S. residents and are completing or have completed high school, or are successfully completing college or trade school coursework, with at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, may apply for the City of Belleville Fire Auxiliary Scholarship Program. Applicants must document at least 20 hours of community service in the past 12 months and be accepted as full-time students at a college, university, or trade school for the upcoming year. High school graduates, college and trade students, and parents returning to school are among those the program serves.
Two scholarships are awarded annually; recent award amounts have been $500 to $750 (structured amount $750).
