Excelen-SIA Academic Scholarship

Latino or Latina high school juniors or seniors, or students advancing to an accredited two- or four-year college or vocational program, may apply for the Excelen-SIA Academic Scholarship through the Solidaridad, Inspiracion y Amistad Community Foundation (Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha). Applicants need at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA and demonstrated community involvement, service, and appreciation of cultural diversity.

Award amounts and the number of recipients vary annually.

Applicants submit the application with a sealed transcript from their academic institution.

Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha and the SIA Community Foundation created ExcelenSIA to help Latino youth with college costs.
