About this scholarship

Jewish U.S. residents ages 15 to 19 who volunteer without compensation and currently lead a tikkun olam project may apply for the Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards from the Helen Diller Family Foundation.

Up to 15 recipients each receive $36,000 to support their leadership efforts. Applications should focus on a single project, demonstrate measurable impact, and show a significant contribution in a leadership role.

The award recognizes teens tackling challenges from environmental justice to education access. Projects may serve the Jewish community or the broader community.

  • Application is project-based, organized into 9 sections: Personal Information, Project Information, Leadership and Tikkun Olam, Impact and Fundraising, Engagement of Others, Communications/Marketing/O
  • Each narrative section is governed by a single instruction: 'All responses should be under 150 words.' (also applies to the Supporting Attachments section, which is optional).
  • Optional supporting attachments: up to four additional attachments, not exceeding ten total pages (do not include academic transcripts).
  • If selected as a recipient: must attend the awards events in San Francisco in August 2026 (up to four days), be available 1-2 days in June/July for photography/filming, provide periodic updates, and u
