Bechtel Corporation Scholarship

Dependent children of actively employed Bechtel employees who are first-time, full-time undergraduate students at accredited two-year or four-year colleges, universities, or vocational or technical schools may apply for the Bechtel Global Scholars Program, administered by Scholarship America. Eligible dependents include natural or adopted children, stepchildren, children of registered domestic partnerships, or legal wards.

Twenty-five $5,000 scholarships are awarded. About 70% go to STEM majors and 30% to other fields. Awards are not renewable and must be used within the next academic year. Financial need is not considered.

Selection weighs academic performance, leadership, school and community activities, work experience, career goals, and an online appraisal.
