Essential Visionaries Scholarship Fund
Up to $10,000Annual: January 16U.S. residents who are high school seniors, graduates, GED recipients, or current undergraduates with at least a 2.5 GPA pursuing education, counseling, social work, psychology, or nursing at an accredited college or vocational school may apply. Education, counseling, social work, and psychology applicants must commit to working in K-12 systems. Renewable awards of up to $5,000 per year for two-year or vocational programs, or up to $10,000 per year for four-year programs, may continue for up to four additional years. Up to 100 recipients may be selected. Submit academic records and three essays on educational goals, personal challenges, and plans for impact. Financial need is considered. DACA recipients are eligible.

$5,250Annual: February 5Residents of the Grossmont Healthcare District for at least one year, or employees who have worked within district boundaries for at least two years, enrolled in healthcare-related technical training or degree programs may apply for the Health Tech Scholarship. Ten awards are granted with prizes up to $5,250. Applicants may apply to only one district scholarship program per year and can receive the award only once. Provide proof of registration in a current health technology course of instruction. Non-residents qualify if they have worked in the district for the required period.

$5,000Due Nov 30, 2026Full-time undergraduate or graduate nursing students enrolled in a state-accredited program in California or Nevada may apply. Two one-time $5,000 scholarships are awarded each year, one for a California student and one for a Nevada student. Funds are paid directly to your school for tuition, fees, books, supplies, and required equipment.
