First-year thesis-track students in the Great Lakes Environmental Science M.A. program at SUNY Buffalo State may apply for the Huppuch Graduate Tuition Scholarship. Candidates should have a 3.3 undergraduate GPA, Buffalo State faculty support, and research interests in aquatic and watershed sciences. Up to three awards of up to $12,000 per academic year (up to $6,000 per semester) cover tuition, mandatory fees, and books. Graduate students pursuing an advanced university degree in wildlife, zoology, botany, ecology, or related biological sciences with a focus on waterfowl or wetlands ecology may apply to California Waterfowl for the Dennis Raveling Scholarship. Two awards of $4,000 each are granted annually based on academic achievement, project merit, and dedication to conservation. Canadian and U.S. students with direct ties to the Pacific halibut fishery who are pursuing post-secondary education at a university, technical college, or similar program may apply for the International Pacific Halibut Commission Merit Scholarship. El Paso County high school seniors who are U.S. citizens with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and demonstrated interest in outdoor recreation, environmental stewardship, or natural-resource preservation may apply for Incline Friends scholarships. Up to three awards of up to $2,500 each are given for one year. Funds are paid directly to the educational institution the student will attend. Complete the online application with two letters of recommendation from non-family members, an official high school transcript covering at least the last two years, and a 200 to 500 word essay on your qualifications and educational and career goals.

High school seniors, current undergraduates, or returning adult students from Antioch Township or neighboring communities majoring in horticulture, floriculture, landscape design, botany, plant pathology, forestry, agronomy, environmental concerns, city planning, land management, or allied fields may apply. One award of $2,000 is offered. Submit the application form with a recommendation letter from a non-relative, an official transcript, and a 500-word or shorter personal statement on your background, future goals, and commitment to your chosen career. Named for founding Antioch Garden Club member Nancy Zitkus, a dedicated former club treasurer.

Asian American and Pacific Islander students enrolled in at least 8 units at an accredited California college or university may apply. You must have at least a 2.0 GPA and be pursuing environmental, cultural, or social sciences, with preference for marine biology, oceanography, environmental studies, or cultural studies. One $1,250 award is offered annually. Submit the application packet by the posted deadline. Funds may support educational experiences related to marine protected areas and ocean stewardship, such as scuba lessons, relevant courses, or events.

Minnesota students majoring in natural resources and environmental sciences may apply for the Art Engelbrecht Environmental Education Scholarship from Viking Sportsmen, Inc. Relevant fields include natural resources management, law enforcement, and aviation. One $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually based on achievement, extracurricular activities, community involvement, leadership, and service. Engelbrecht to support students pursuing environmental education.

High school seniors or current college students in Colorado pursuing animal-related majors may apply for the Cavalier Trail Riding Club's $1,000 one-time scholarship. Submit a resume or personal statement, two non-family recommendation letters, and transcripts via the club's online application or downloadable form by June 30. The award supports students committed to animal sciences and related fields.
