Virginia Sawyer Award

York University students with a major or minor in the School of Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons, Ontario residents, and demonstrate financial need may apply. Preference goes to students who entered under the mature-student admission category.

One bursary of $800 is offered in the Winter term.
