United States Senate Youth Program

High school juniors and seniors who hold an elected or appointed student leadership position and demonstrate academic interest in government, history, or politics may qualify through their state selection process.

Two delegates per state, Washington D.C., and DoDEA schools (104 total) attend Washington Week in March and each receive a $12,500 undergraduate scholarship.

Obtain an application through your high school principal, counselor, or state selection contact. State chiefs of schools select delegates by December 1.
