About this scholarship
U.S. citizens or permanent residents age 18 or older with a minimum 3.0 GPA who are enrolled or intending to enroll at an accredited U.S. college or university may apply for the Schwartz Injury Law Perseverance Scholarship. The award supports a student who overcame a severe injury or medical issue.
One $1,000 award is paid to the recipient's school financial aid office.
Submit contact information, proof of enrollment, a professional headshot, and an original 500- to 1,000-word essay on the injury or medical challenge you faced and how it prepared you for higher education and your career. The Spring 2027 deadline is November 23, 2026.
