Open to SGEU Saskatoon Local 1102 members in good standing and their partners or dependants who are pursuing part-time or full-time post-secondary education. SGEU membership in the current calendar year is required.
One $1,000 bursary is awarded based on an essay of approximately 1,000 words on any aspect of the Canadian labour movement, plus a cover letter. The essay must not include personally identifiable information except a student number. Incomplete applications are not considered.

Applicants must meet Alberta residency requirements and may submit only one AFA application per deadline across all disciplines. Grants provide up to $18,000 for a specific project in art production, marketing, research, or training and career development.
