About this scholarship

Open annually to an Osgoode Hall Law School JD student who has faced adversity. Recipients must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons, residents of Ontario, and demonstrate financial need.

Nadia Shevchuk-Mancini '06 came to Osgoode with two degrees and a banking career while battling cancer. She excelled in her studies, founded the Osgoode Class Actions Society, and went on exchange to England. She hoped this award would help future students achieve their full potential.
