Michael Mandel Peace and Social Justice Award

Osgoode Hall Law School JD students in financial need who have demonstrated a commitment to peace and social justice through community activity, personal commitment, or academic interest may be considered.

The award amount varies. Apply through the Osgoode bursary application.

The award honours Professor Michael Mandel, Osgoode Class of 1972 Silver Medalist and the school's longest-serving full-time faculty member at his death in 2013. His teaching, research, and political engagement reflected a passion for peace and social justice.
