McCall MacBain Scholarship

For undergraduate students in good academic standing and overall conduct who are on track to complete their undergraduate degree by August 2027 and who apply for the McCall MacBain Scholarship to pursue a full-time master's or second-entry professional program (such as dentistry, law, or medicine) at McGill University for Summer or Fall 2027. Current UBC students and alumni who graduated in 2021 or later need UBC institutional endorsement.

The scholarship covers tuition and fees plus a $2,300 monthly living stipend during academic terms. Apply through the McCall MacBain Scholarship website with two reference letters, an official transcript, a personal statement, short essays, and a list of community, work, and extracurricular experiences. Successful candidates are invited to regional interviews, then a final interview in Montréal (travel funded). You must also apply separately for McGill admission. Applications for the 2027 cycle open June 1, 2026 and close September 23, 2026.
