U.S. citizens with a minimum 3.0 GPA may apply for the Kanoski Bresney Stand Up to Distracted Driving Scholarship. Eligible applicants are enrolled undergraduates or graduate students whose education continues through Fall 2026 or Spring 2027, or high school seniors starting college in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.
Multiple scholarships are available for qualifying applicants.
Submit a 1,000-word double-spaced essay on how distracted driving has affected your life and ideas to raise awareness among young drivers, plus a current academic transcript and contact information. Winners are notified by December 9, 2026.
