John R. Scarfo Wellness Bursary

For full-time Canadian citizens or permanent residents at UBC with demonstrated unmet financial need who are committed to a healthy lifestyle. Amount varies. Applicants must apply to the UBC Bursary Program and submit a personal statement (max 150 words) on their commitment to health and wellness in daily life.

The bursaries are adjudicated by Enrolment Services. They were endowed by Dr. John R. Scarfo, who came from a family of 12 children and credits Dean Walter Gage's generosity with making his UBC MD possible.
