Edith Knopf Bursary

Osgoode Hall Law School JD students in financial need who face visible or invisible obstacles such as income, mental health, racial, cultural, or gender inequalities, or physical or learning challenges may be considered.

The bursary amount varies. Apply through the annual Osgoode bursary application.

Paula Knopf '75 established this bursary to celebrate her mother, Edith Knopf, the daughter of immigrants who came to Canada with no money and no English. Edith became a role model of integrity and dedication who took joy in teaching English to new Canadians. The endowment was matched by Osgoode through the No Barriers initiative.
