Delos Rogest Davis K.C. Memorial Award

Open to a Law III student at the University of Windsor who best exemplifies the ideals of Delos Rogest Davis, especially through community contributions. An external committee helps choose the recipient.

One award of $1,400.

Established in 1990 in memory of Delos Rogest Davis, K.C., one of the first Black lawyers in Canada, called to the Upper Canada Bar in 1885 and the first Black lawyer appointed King's Counsel in the British Commonwealth.
