Canadian Armed Forces Memorial Scholarship

Open to UBC Vancouver undergraduate and graduate students who are serving or have served in the Canadian Forces Reserves or Regular Forces, are serving or have served as Cadets, or are descendants of those who have served in the Reserves or Regular Forces of Canada.

Up to four scholarships of $2,150 each are offered. Apply through UBC affiliation scholarships.

Endowed by the trustees of the UBC Combined Services Trust Fund and the Canadian Officers Training Corps Unit Trust Fund to commemorate those who gave their lives in Canada's service. One scholarship honours Surgeon Captain Maurice D. Young, a Commanding Officer of the University Naval Training Division at UBC and a professor in the Faculty of Medicine.
