About this scholarship
First-year Boston University applicants from the U.S. and abroad with exceptionally strong academic records may be considered. Recipients typically rank in the top 5% of their high school class and show significant extracurricular leadership.
The Presidential Scholarship is a renewable merit award of $25,000 per year for up to four years of undergraduate study.
No separate scholarship application is required. Submit your admission application and supporting credentials by December 1 for consideration. Renewal requires satisfactory academic progress, including a minimum 3.20 GPA.
