Scholarships at Indiana University

The Adam W. Herbert Presidential Scholarship at Indiana University Indianapolis Honors College supports outstanding Indiana high school seniors with extensive leadership experience. Selected students receive $12,000 per year for four years, a $2,500 study abroad stipend, a one-time $1,500 freshman housing stipend for the Honors Learning Community, and a one-time $1,200 supplemental educational expenses award for items such as a laptop or books. Indiana residents apply through the Honors College scholarship application by November 15 with an leadership essay, scholarship resume, and recommendation. Finalists interview in January. Students may receive only one Honors College scholarship.

The IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law Alumni Association Scholarship awards four $5,000 scholarships each year to incoming first-year law students at IU McKinney in Indianapolis. Scholarships renew annually for students who maintain satisfactory academic performance throughout law school. The Journalism Alumni Scholarship at IU Indianapolis supports future journalism and public relations professionals at Indiana University Indianapolis. Scholars must maintain a 3.4 cumulative and semester GPA, complete at least twelve credit hours each semester, and abide by high ethical conduct standards.

The Cox Research Scholarship is a need-based award for incoming Indiana resident freshmen at Indiana University Bloomington who show exemplary achievement and scholarly curiosity.
